The tour in pictures

Yesterday I walked the tour and took some pictures in preparation for the presentation.

Todays group work

Today we met at 11 am and recorded some of our audio. We also booked a meeting with the voices that were missing for monday 14th of May at 13.

Meeting with Daniel Spikol

Thurstay 3rd of May at 10.00, we had a meeting with Daniel Spikol.
He gave us some directions and thoughts, and wanted us to spend more time on the technical part. We also discussed how to make the tour more attracting for the tourists, and maybe specify a target group.

We settled a group meeting at Friday 4th of May in town library at 4 PM.

I also pasted the main tour, as it is so far.

Friday 20/4

We met to walk our route to decide what will happen during it. We also took the time to make sure it was not too short/long. After walking the route we wrote down the things that will happen during the route, where we will stop and what different "events" that will take place at each of them. We also wrote a script, we defined what will be in text and what will be in audio and how we wanted the dialogues to be. The major part of the work with the story and the script is done now, from now on it is going to be more about adjusting the material to suit the route and the technical abilities that we have.

Wednesday 18/4

The group met at the library of Blekinge Länsmuséeum to continue the research. This time we focused more on buildings and how the layout of the city was around 1780-1800.

Monday 16/4

Monday 16/4 the group met to have a walk through town to visit places we have found of interest and to see if they would fit in with our story. The walk was very successful and a route was agreed upon.

Thursday 13/4

The group had a meeting with Lissa and Fred to discuss the progress so far.

Meeting at the museum archive 12/4

Wednesday 12/4 we met at the library/archive of Blekinge Länsmuseum to do some research. We found some interesting things about Törnström as well as about Karlskrona during the time Törnström lived here. There is a lot of information to go through and only some hours there are not enough so we decided that we will meet next Wednesday again. We also copied a map that displayed important sights and buildings in Karlskrona, something that will be very useful for us when planning the route this weekend.

Notes 4/4

At our Group Meeting Wednesday 4th of April we decided following:

• To create a blog for documenting the process of the project.
• Main character will be Johan Thörnström
• Several characters from the same time will be involved.
• If technologically possible, the story will be told through an interactive game and the user moved through spaces in Karlskrona with help of an interactive map (as part of the game).
• We will meet Wednesday the 11th of April at “Blekinge Museum’s Library” to make further researches.
• Weekend 13-15th of April: We will meet to walk through the city of Karlskrona to plan the route of the project.
• Marlene will contact historian Mikael Helgesson to book a meeting.
• The time of the meeting with Lissa Thursday 12th of April, has been changed from 11.00 to 15.00.
